Fushimi Inari: Aki

For ^_^ *****FULL VIEW PLEASE*****

Her character, Ken, at the Fushimi Inari Shrine in Autumn. I’ve been to the Shrine during late Spring, so I’ve not actually seen the trees in autumn. I’ve heard that they become beautiful shades of oranges and reds, so I hope this image is a semi-okay representation of the leaves turning from green through yellow and orange to red at this time of the year.

Surprisingly, given that I’ve been drawing this stuff properly for a decade, I’ve never really done an autumn image before. Using many of these colours together in this way was a first. I’ve not drawn Ken before either so I hope I’ve done him justice in my style.

NB – Jacket and jeans may show up as very strong/dark colours on an old or CRT screen, they are actually not so overpoweringly dark in print.
