Have been busy at home lately with a fair amount of artwork to do, so, I’ve only really got time to update my journal whilst at work to save time at home for scribbling etc. It’s probably going to stay that way for some time to come so journals will mostly be done from work now :3

I’d also like to get myself into a position where I can just draw something random when I want to. I currently have jobs and commissions to do, so I can’t just spend my time flouncing around as I please, but yeah, I miss that freedom. I’ve had a few ideas lately, so I’d like to get a chance to do them before I forget.

Wedding plans are starting to shape up (and I should hope so, with only 3 months and 2 weeks to go…) Still need to make a decision on the flowers and book the disco, though I do have a couple of ideas for the favours, I just don’t know which to go for (will have to decide soon as they will be coming from the USA, via our good friend Chan, so those need time to arrive and be put together). Have done the invites for the main ceremony, those are waiting to be distributed, and I plan to start the longhaul job of hand-writing all of the evening invites shortly. Lovely.

Things would be going swimmingly, if it weren’t for the fact that BHS have decided to foil my plans thanks to a “misprint in the wedding brochure” that says a certain dress comes in pink when it doesn’t at all. And, the only other pink dress there which isn’t horrible has a £160 (that wouldn’t be so bad, except, I have to buy 2 of them @_@) so thank you very much BHS, I now have to go looking for somewhere else that does a pale pink gown for less than £100 AND it has to be off-the-hanger as well, as there is now no time (or budget) for them to be tailor-made. AND it has to be in York, 220 miles away, so my bridesmaids can try it on. Raaa! I would smite them, but, I may end up having to cough up the extra cash out of our Tokyo spending fund if I can’t find anything else T^T before anyone asks, yes it does have to be pale pink as that’s the colour scheme and to change it now would throw everything else out.

Also, I’m a bit worried about the costs of it all (and heck, we’re doing it CHEAP). It wouldn’t actually be so bad, but the fact that I realised we have a lot to pay for the car in March/April (MOT (£???) tax (over £100) plus £400 for insurance) is really, really stretching funds. I know I said before that we will have to rely on people paying attention to our wedding list of Japanese yen to be able to have spending money on the honeymoon, but I realise ever moreso now that it will just have to be the case ;_; eek!

Oh well. I’ve rabbited on (“bunnie’d” on? XD) about wedding stuff when I really didn’t mean to -_- gomen ne, its just on my mind a lot at the moment, y’know, worrying that it isn’t all gonna get organised in time and it’s gonna go over budget and something may accidentally get ‘unbooked’ and thus cause problems etc etc etc. I actually had a nightmare the other night where I woke up and it was suddenly the wedding day, and I’m no more organised than I am right now (and didn’t even have my dress ready lol). Isn't that really sad and uncool?

Argh! I bunnie’d on again! I should quit writing O_O ja-ne!
