We has bunny ^_^ We only got her home 3 hours ago so her eyes are still like saucers (best O_O expression I've ever seen!)

We still need a name for her ~ we've been calling her Luna but I'm not sure it fits. Suggestions are still welcome, originally her name was 'Mabel' so I've been contemplating variations of that - May, Belle, etc, but so far only got blanks.

Photos here are dedicated to my fingers, as I nearly lost one or two of them in putting the camera into the hutch. She's not a happy bunny at the moment. Then again, they microchipped her this morning before we collected her so I'm not surprised she's in a grumpy mood ^_^;





Backstory:-

This bunny was taken to the Bath Cats and Dogs Home (local animal rescue/RSPCA centre) back in June 2007 with her litter of baby babies. The owner gave her up as they had 'too many pets' (careless and irresponsible, IMO) and she has sat at the rescue centre for 9 months as nobody wanted her ;_; She's now 2yrs old, and we just couldn't refuse her. She has a temperment problem where she doesn't like being picked up, but one she's got past the '"picking up" stage she's happy to be hugged. That's likely due to the fact she got very little attention with her first owner. We could have easily walked away with a younger, friendlier bunny but this one has already sat in the home for a year ;_; I had to adopt her. All the other friendlier bunies would have no problems finding a new home, this one just needs loving owners who will give her a chance at a happy life where she can hopefully end up being as cheerful and happy as any other bunny ^_^
